Azores Dog Rescue

We've just rescued 3 mini Pinschers after the owner died. Rose is heavily pregnant, Daisy has some mobility issues and Lily is really sad and withdrawn. Rose and Lily are sisters. Click here to see a video of the pups! 

Rose is due to have pups in approximately 7 days, she's a happy, friendly, confident little dog, she's already had a wander around the house and told off the pups for having poor manners.

Daisy appears to have some problems walking - the vet will give her a thorough check up next week. She's shy but loves to be cuddled.

Lily has been completely shut down until today. She seems to be feeling the loss of her owner the most and has just been curled in a ball not wanting to interact with me or the other dogs until this morning. It was so lovely to see her pretty little face this morning and she even asked me to stroke her - she isn't quite ready for cuddles though.

Rose will have her own space from tomorrow so she can prepare for the birth of her pups.
